The BRISTOL
HILLS STORYTELLING FESTIVAL will be held
Friday,
September 10 and Saturday, September 11, 2010
at the ELKHART
COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM,
at 304 W.
Vistula Street in Bristol.
Parking is
available at the Museum, the Post Office, and across the street.
The Museum
will remain open during the Storytelling Festival.
Visitors are
encouraged to browse through the exhibits before
the program to
learn about local history. Tour guides will be
available to
direct our guests through the galleries.
The Swapping
Ground precedes the Featured Telling at 5:30 pm
with
local informal audience participation and is open to
anyone wishing
to share or just listen to a story at no charge.
Traditionally
the Swapping Grounds provides an opportunity
for interested
people to tell a story in front of a supportive audience.
Featured tellers are at 7 pm.
Admission is $10.
Stories are family oriented for
teens and adults.
No toddlers please.
